Do you want to have a Google+ account and a separate Blogger account or just a Google+ account?
Through a quirk I now have 2 Google accounts. I think that I will make a 3rd for my goal blog.
I want the YouTube account name to relate to the blog and the YouTube channel will take the name of the G+ account. I am not so interested in "Branding" my real name. But authorship maybe a consideration. I may post from my main name account in the future if I figure out that authorship is important.

You can move a blog between google accounts, if you have more than one.
